Palm III W.J. System Dynamics
McGraw-Hill Science/Engineering/Math, 2009. — 900 p. — 2nd ed. — ISBN: 0073529273, 9780073529271
System Dynamics includes the strongest treatment of computational software and system simulation of any available text, with its early introduction of MatLAB and Simulink.
The text's extensive coverage also includes discussion of the root locus and frequency response plots, among other methods for assessing system behavior in the time and frequency domains as well as topics such as function discovery, parameter estimation, and system identification techniques, motor performance evaluation, and system dynamics in everyday life.
William J. Palm III is Professor of Mechanical Engineering and Applied Mechanics at the University of Rhode Island. In 1966 he received a B.S. from Loyola College in Baltimore, and in 1971 a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering and Astronautical Sciences from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois.
