Themen Aktuell 3 corresponds to Niveaustufe B1 according to the new European classification. Like the first two parts of the course, part three covers a variety of topics. Although many of these were covered in parts one and two of the course, they are reviewed here and vocabulary and grammar are reinforced. The main task is to prepare for the "Zertifikat Deutsch" exam, therefore a full example of this exam is given at the end of the workbook. After each lecture, there is a short test on reading, comprehension, etc. with some tips for the exam.As a complement to the numerous speech comprehension exercises, students can listen to the complete audio play from Kursbuch - Humboldt 13, Dritter Stock, which tells in an entertaining way about the everyday life of three young people living in the same apartment.
