Czech language for beginners. - 2. výd. - Liberec, 1999. - 399 p.
"Do you want to speak Czech?" is a Czech language textbook for beginners. A russified version of a textbook written for speakers of Western European languages. The purpose of this book is to show the Czech language system in the most accessible form.
The Czech language is an inflected language with a rich declension system, which in all available textbooks led to the fact that the communicative aspect of the language was subordinated to grammar. An essential aspect of this textbook, unlike existing ones, is communication; this means that you will learn the basics of the Czech language through the conversational practice method. Based on this method, you will be able to use Czech in all areas of public life: in the city, in hotels, in restaurants and shops, at the post office, in commercial areas, at the train station, at the airport, at customs, on the highway, etc. You will be able to make appointments and invitations in Czech as well as take part in conversations on any topic in social life, as well as in simple meetings. At the same time, you will learn the grammar you need, including noun declension and verb conjugation systems.
