Part II consists of the editions of the material on which the syntheses of Part I are based. With the exception of pitiful fragments, the great majority of Hittite letters in both Akkadian and Hittite language are transliterated, and where the state of preservation permits, translated. Commentaries of varying degrees of thoroughness are also provided. The correspondence between Hattusili III. and Ramses II. of Egypt. Several other important texts, such as KUB 14.3 (the "Tawagalawa Letter"), KUB 19.55 + (the "Milawata Letter"), VBoT 1 and 2 (the "Arzawa Letters"), and KUB 21.38 (letter of Puduhepa to Ramses), have been as signed numbers in Hagenbuchner's corpus, but the reader is simply referred to the previous literature. This is the case also for the Hittite letters recovered at Ugarit (Nos. 268-97).
