Rim of the Pit is a mystery novel written by Hake Talbot, a pen name of Henning Nelms. Written in 1944, this is a classic 'locked room' mystery in the tradition of John Dickson Carr. It takes place in the far north where snow surrounds a group of desperate people, one of whom is bent on murder.
In addition, this book contains a short story by Talbot called "The Other Side".
