Boya Chinese: Advanced is suitable for learners who have a mastery of 6,000 words and 600 grammar items. Written following the principle of discourse theory, these textbooks include model essays featuring profound themes and graceful language. After reading these three textbooks, a student will master about 3,000 new words and 150 language points.
本教材是《博雅汉语》的高级部分，共三册。本教材以语篇理论为依据，内容的选取以著名作家的原作为主，也有个别不知名作者的优秀作品，以求通过课文体现人文精神，突出人类共通文化。选文注重语言的规范与典雅，每段语篇的长度为2000 字左右，全书生词共有8000 左右。在语法的诠释上，本教材重在近义词的辨析，同时也有常用句式或难用词语的解释。练习部分形式新颖实用，练习量充足。每段语篇的最后还附有精彩的阅读课文，并配有帮助学生理解的练习，便于教师实际操作。学习完三册书后，学生基本可以达到HSK的11级水平。
