We also look at how to combine the pieces of functionality you already know to solve more complex problems by constructing more complex compound statements. We start by reviewing the core data structures and looks at how to filter, merge and reshape data structures. We then introduce some more functions which can be used alongside selections to achieve some new functionality. We then look at how to efficiently loop over data structures to run the same analyses multiple times. Finally we will look at extending the core R functionality with modules. Throughout the course we will look at better practices for structuring and recording the work that you’re doing.
