Since all versions of FliteStar and FliteMap (VFR, IFR, and Corporate) operate similarly, this user's guide has been written to apply to all variants of the program.
We strongly encourage all users of FliteStar to complete the Tutorials, which are designed to get you going quickly with FliteStar/FliteMap. The first tutorial shows you how to get around in the program. The second tutorial walks you through the flight planning process using the Route Wizard. The third tutorial introduces you to FliteMap's moving map capabilities.
Features and enhancements added after the manual printing will be described in the README file included with each program update and later on the website at www.jeppesen.com/pctechsupp/fmap. Further information regarding FliteStar's features is also contained in the online Help and the remaining chapters of this guide.
Our intent is for you to become comfortable using the full program capabilities for safe and effective flight planning.
