English Today! is an exciting 6-level course for children who are learning English for the first time.
A wide variety of communicative exercises and activities form the core of the course, providing children with the opportunity to use language meaningfully. The activities include children's games, puzzles and riddles, instructions for making and using things, rhymes and songs, and stories for reading and listening to. Books 1-3 have greater emphasis on oral work, while Books 4-6 concentrate more on reading comprehension.
A variety of enjoyable activities provide controlled, graded practice in reading and writing. The exercises range from basic letter recognition and formation, to production of guided composition.
