ISO/TS 29001 was prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 67, Materials, equipment and offshore
structures for petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries, and approved for publication as an ISO/TS by ISO/TC 67 to provide additional requirements to ISO 9001:2000 specifically intended for the petroleum, petrochemical and natural gas industries.
